I am part of group 4 on the BIS3324 and our topic is the strategic use of Information Technology in supply chain management (SCM). We are doing a case study about Argos , a British retailer company.My Role in the team is Resource investigator (RI)The key function is to explore and report back on ideas, resources or the developments outside the group. They should logically set up an external contact and carry out consequent negotiations. RIs have the capability of making their own decisions and inquiring information from others. My PAEI Management style is: producer The producer in conjunction with the team members should work towards the achievement of their set strategies. The producer must put efforts while working on the identified project. The role of this member is to come up with ideas resourced from individual from outside the company. Good ideas on projects should be put forward upon recommendation by the member. This member serves to increase productivity by bringing in new ideas to the group. He is never in his office and if he is, he should always be on the telephone.
