Senior Port Captain at NYC DEP responsibility for daily operations of Marine Section municipal tank vessels. Additionally, responsible for integrating and maintaining ISM structured operations system.NYC has also concluded a large capital building program to increase tank vessel capacity. This project included new construction of three large capacity vessels. Responsibility included in depth consulting as marine operations representative to the project from operational design through delivery and placement into service.

Serve as Adjunct Lecturer to the Global Business And Transportation (GBAT) Department of the Maritime College. Topics include Transportation Systems, Transportation Management and Port and Terminal Operations in Undergraduate and Graduate Sections

Responsible for daily operations of municipal ferry vessels. Accountable for effective implementation of ferry operations procedures in accordance with the agency Safety Management System. Additionally, provide leadership as Port Office Team Leader for all Port Office personnel, Ferry Boat Captains, and department reports. Team Leader for NYC DOT acquiring and sustaining Voluntary Document of Compliance for ISM in accordance with mandated ferry system safety initiatives.

Accountable for all Marine Department management. Including maintenance of all USCG inspection criteria and vessel Certificates of Inspection. Integrated company compliance efforts for MTSA 2002 and designated CSO for all New York based vessels. Project management of all vessel capital improvement projects in addition to responsibility for planning and executing scheduled dry-dock and re-fit periods
