- Developed Golang-based microservices for a Content Management System serving an OTT platform provider, Quickplay Media (client: U.S media giant Allen Media Group, including Localnow, The Weather Channel, Grio, etc.)- Worked extensively with kubernetes and used GCP as the cloud provider.- The customer being a NEWS channel, the system was expected to be under immense traffic during critical events such as Hurricanes in the U.S. And I was able to optimize the backend solution to handle high throughputs of 60,000 TPS (Transactions per second).- Developed a sidecar solution for image processing with less impact to the current system and relatively faster than 3rd party solutions; thereby reducing cost for that feature by 50%- Expertise encompasses EPG management, image manipulation, VOD and live content management pipelines, as well as authorization and entitlement management.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to align technical solutions with business goals.
