I am a dedicated advocate for sustainable food systems and food security. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Food Security and Development at the University of Reading, UK, with the prestigious Marshal Papworth Scholarship Award. As the Strategy and Innovation Lead for the World Food Forum Nepal Chapter (2024/2025), I spearheaded initiatives that empowered Nepalese youth and facilitated collaboration on food-related challenges at both national and global levels. My work has focused on creating resilient agrifood systems, promoting climate action, and advancing sustainable practices. In my previous role as the Regional Coordinator for South Asia at Thought For Food Foundation, I led initiatives that engaged over 5,000 youth and launched projects like 'REFT 2020,' which delivered practical food solutions to 600 individuals. I have actively contributed to capacity-building efforts for marginalized groups, including women and youth with disabilities, and have been involved in global platforms such as FAO’s Food & Climate Shaper's Bootcamp and the YECAP Fellowship.
