Sarvaguna is a social enterprise that produces safe, healthy and nutritious food items for school students, hospitals and other institutions from the agricultural goods sourced from local and small farmers, prioritizing the farm-to-table principle. The organization is working with the entire food system and is attempting to bring "SUSTAINABILITY🌻" into reality in every value chain involved.

Thought For Food is the world’s entrepreneurial innovation engine for food and agriculture 🌱. Over the past 9 years, we have had the chance to work with 25,000 next-generation leaders from over 175 countries, helping them to generate and scale thousands of ideas and launch over 60 impact-focused startups through our comprehensive suite of next-generation innovation programs🚀. • Developed an annual strategy and action plan for the South Asia region that aligns with the global goals of the Foundation.• Led a cohort of 13 regional TFF Ambassadors and assigned responsibilities. • Empowered and engaged 5000 plus local youths in different events, campaigns, and activities.• Set up and manage successful local partnerships and alliances to increase the common impacts as well as help secure long-term financial security of the Foundation. • Scouted, recruited and built long-term relationships with 10+ startups and entrepreneurs working in the agri-food space.• Regular follow-ups and communication with team members through online meetings.• Documentation and monthly progress reports presented to the Core team.

As a TFF Ambassador for Nepal, I performed and accomplished the following tasks and achievements.• Worked as the local representative of TFF and implemented the organization’s global strategy locally in Nepal.• Built partnerships with 70+ local and regional organizations that share common goals such as YPARD Nepal, Baliyo Nepal Nutrition Initiative, SOCHAI-Youth for Nutrition, King’s College, Blinc Ventures, Nepal Food Scientists and Technologists Association (NEFOSTA) etc. • Led the cohort of 20 TFF ambassadors of Nepal and brought them under the same roof to accomplish various goals.• Organized three in-person events including TFF Satellite Summit 2021 and 80+ virtual webinars focused on food sustainability, climate change and agriculture.• Initiated and led a national hackathon “REFT Local Hero Challenge 2020”, during the pandemic to address food waste issue, that impacted 600 people at the grassroots level through innovation-based ideas such as the utilization of lemon byproducts and the development of nutrient-fortified snacks.• Convened the UN Food Systems Summit 2021 Independent Dialogue that catered to various stakeholders from the whole food supply chain who were invited to discuss how the local and national food systems could be strengthened.

Rastriya Khadya Bank Limited is a profit organization working to produce and sell healthy food products to consumers and supports farmers with training and new technology. I worked in the quality improvement, processing, laboratory analysis, packaging, storage and selling of cereals, legumes, nuts, green vegetables, fruits, yoghurt, fish, meat, tea, herbs, spices, and other commodities; provided training skills to the farmers and working employees on the value addition of food products, the latest food technology and quality assurance of foods and beverages.

Sukalpa International is a Research and Training Development organization to provides industry-based learning and community development services including technical vocational and educational training (TVET) programs in education, food and agriculture, retail and sales, hospitality, service, aged care, and related sectors. It is affiliated with CTEVT, and Eduqual, a UK accreditation body. During my tenure; I performed and accomplished the following tasks and achievements.• Led a 2-years-long project “Farmer Training and Building Ginger Value Chain in Ilam, Nepal”, supported by Parvata Foods India and Millennium Alliance, and provided training to 1750 ginger farmers in modern agriculture and post-harvest practices with a focus on organic farming;• Led a 2-years-long project “Promoting Young Women in Employment in Pokhara, Nepal”, supported by Plan International and Right4Children, that equipped socially and economically disadvantaged young women (aged 18-24) and youth with disabilities with relevant skillsets and supported them by providing a decent job for each to improve their life.• Provided training on “Digital Skills for Online Teaching & Learning” to 400 teachers including principals of government schools of Karnali Province of Nepal, in support of Save the Children.• Designed and launched different youth developing events and training programs such as Digital Art, Career Counselling, Public speaking and Communication, Professional Email Writing and an exclusive course on Diet in Menstruation for young girls.

The food and Climate Shapers Bootcamp program was one of the most inclusive learning platforms for me where I got to work with 20+ selected participants, mentors, facilitators, and experts from diverse educational and working backgrounds around the world to develop innovative food and climate solutions to cope up with the ongoing challenges of agrifood systems. The program has changed my perspective on how to look at the critical problems around us.

Worked on the welfare of undergraduates and assists them in their capacity development; organized ISO training, seminars and meet-ups with national and international experts; hosted skill-developing activities for students to develop their leadership quality and subject-based knowledge.

Learned about quality control along with its indicators and analysis of various parameters in Beer making; analyzed the quality of malt, alcohol percentage and the CO2 content of the final product; determined the COD and BOD value of wastewater; documented the food safety rules and regulations for alcoholic beverages in Nepal.
