1. To develop a technology and operational strategy for the provision of all Systems administration services in line with common foundation of the I.T. Strategy and Architecture.2. To develop efficient and effective system and infrastructure operatives, policies and practices.3. To work with the relevant business units to ascertain their requirements in terms of Systems Operations and Administration and turn these into relevant and cost justified Service Level Agreements (SLA). These SLAs should be reviewed, in conjunction with the relevant business units, to ensure that they are kept current and meaningful.4. To ensure that the Systems Operations and Administration sections contributions to the Corporate Office (TCO) Information Technology Strategy is properly executed within terms of people competencies, service levels, operational priorities and budgetary constraints (i.e. time, money and resources). 5. To turn the Systems Administration department into a business enabler across all BU’s and across all regions using the common foundation of TCO's I.T. Strategy & Architecture.6. To ensure that the Systems Administration section’s contributions to the security and business continuity of the Datacenter and all Centralized Business Systems Services are undertaken within SLAs and policies in a timely and cost justified manner.7. To contribute to the overall operations, strategy and senior management of the Data Center Department and undertake such reasonable projects, activities and tasks as may be required by the Data Center Officer.
