A graduate of the Creative Art and Design program at University of Punjab, I had been teaching Textile Design and Fashion at the City College of Textiles at Lahore. I am currently working as a freelance designer and seamstress for various creative industries in Toronto. With a background in traditional art and design, I have acquired many skills that are extremely beneficial in my current and past roles, which I now find to be transferable to the workplace. These skills include being fluent in Fashion and conversational in English, and Urdu languages and a solid understanding of garment construction techniques and patterns
