The vCIO is the “Virtual Chief Information Officer” for clients and is responsible for providing principal-level consulting on business and technical matters. The vCIO will develop and maintain long term relationships with clients, developing a thorough understanding of their business and technology needs, work with clients to create and execute on an annual strategic technology plans, and ensure that existing products and services meet the client’s needs, as well as, identify and execute on opportunities to cross-sell additional services and products. The Director of Technology will lead the planning and implementation of enterprise information systems and information security to support business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide operations.

Responsible for the development and strategic leadership of SWBC’s security program and enterprise-wide information security governance. Advises and recommends on security direction and resource investments to senior leadership. Advises in the development of policies to manage information security risk; provides guidance and counsel to members of the Information Technology leadership team. Leads information security planning processes and creates employee education and awareness programs and training.

Establish and direct strategic and tactical objectives, polices, and procedures for IT Operations, Systems, Telecommunications, Networks, Help Desk, and Information Security. Perform capacity planning, infrastructure planning and deployment, disaster recovery, and data integrity for 24/7 technology operations. Create, conduct and perform essential technology related security functions for the enterprise; including vulnerability, web application and penetration assessments, Information Security Awareness Training, Incident Response, logging and alerting, assistance with Risk and Audit IT teams, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information access, security and privacy.
