Location Changes On Weekly Basis

Working with Amazon Robotics employed by TekSystems. Travel on weekly basis to Amazon distribution centers. Worked with many different teams with different situations and requirements. Communicate and enact plans of project manager on location.Scopes have included:- Direct Vendor staff pertaining to assembly of stations, pods- Responsible for quality of assembly by assembly team- Perform troubleshooting / problem solving for operation of AR robots system- Implement out of service status to resolve floor, drive, pod issues- Find and correct errors in Vendor inventory, logistics- Track project metrics for analysis by upper managementGained certifications including OSHA10 Construction certification, Amazon Red Badge certification (FAST and UP Training).Observed Project management practices put in action, logistics strategies including Lean, Six Sigma, 5S methodology.

Over past summers I worked with the En Passant Chess Club at chess summer camps teaching elementary to middle school children chess. The camps would rotate each week, moving to a new school with different children. The goal would be to teach each group how to play chess by the end of the week so they could have a tournament with each other.I have gained a lot of experience from this position, both when things go wrong, and putting in effort to make sure things go right. I have certainly improved my communication skills as well as my organizational skills. My patience and ability while working under pressure has also improved.

I worked during the school year after school a few days a week as a chess instructor in Olivette in St. Louis County at Old Bonhomme. I also worked at Academy of the Sacred Heart in St. Charles. I worked up to when things shut down due to COVID. Worked with elementary schoolers, encouraging and keeping them enthusiastic about playing chess. Each school chess program would last for a few hours. I further improved my communication and teamwork skills as well as overall enjoyed the position.
