• Project Manager for a full network redesign - TriMet's Forward Together Project. Managed consulting team to deliver a once-in-a-generation complete re-envisioning of Portland's transit network.• Planned a complex and high profile process improve efficiency and equity in Light-Rail service. Developed a more than one million-dollar project with Engineering, Finance, Operations staff, as well as the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to support optimization through selective station closure. Addressed public perception and reaction to the project through close coordination with communications staff. Attained Board authorization and oversaw the successful implementation of the closure plan resulting shortened trip times between centers of affordable housing and living-wage employment.• Audited and revised internal practices and procedures for the Active Transportation Planning Program at TriMet. Collaborated with Facilities Management, Fare Revenue, and Customer Experience departments to revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) around the rider provision and maintenance of bike parking facilities resulting in quicker response times to maintenance requests and a reduction in staff hour requirements.• Oversaw a grant-funded planning project to develop a TriMet Pedestrian Plan. Developed a statement of work (SOW) and budget for TriMet staff and an outside consultant in partnership with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). Mentored and provided oversight of fellow employee who is the Project Manager. Project has received warm reception from partner jurisdictions and is on-time and under budget for completion at the end of this fiscal year.

Perform all activities associated with long and short-term transit operations service and capital planning through data analysis and mapping, agency and jurisdictional relations, and developing, implementing, and monitoring major technical planning programs and projects. • Delivered elements of long-range service enhancement plans through stakeholder engagement and operational planning resulting in transit service to new areas with ridership on one route reaching 14.3 boarding rides per revenue hour within the first three months of operation.• Served on multiple technical advisory committees for several projects including Central City in Motion and Enhanced Transit Concepts providing guidance to plans involving capital construction of transit facilities and assisting in the development of metrics to measure the success of these projects. • Developed, tested, and implemented complex plans for temporary transit service through a high ridership corridor during construction of the Providence Park MAX Improvements Project by using data analysis and system design review in support of maintenance and state of good repair programs.

Lead projects to match rider amenities and bus facilities to demand in support of agency plans for service. Review roadway projects, active transportation improvements, and streetscape planning studies. Screen development review proposals for transit impacts and opportunities. Accomplishments include: • Planned transit customer facilities for multiple TriMet service changes by working with stakeholders to identify needs and leading design & deployment of amenities for projects such as Post-Orange Line bus service or Post-Sellwood Bridge bus service. • Developed service corridor improvement plans by collaborating with front-line operational staff, seeking customer feedback, and presenting to interested community groups resulting in service efficiency, increased safety, and quality wayside amenities. • Designed and coordinated the construction of many transit improvement projects with internal and external groups including an Intel initiated and built project at the Ronler Acres campus for bus stops to be shared by TriMet buses and Intel shuttles. • Leveraged the Transportation Planning Rule of Oregon Land Use Law to incorporate improvements in many third party projects resulting in thousands of dollars of improved transit facilities such as at the Con-Way and Marathon Mississippi developments.
