I was honored to lead U-GRO Learning Centres for 25+ years. U-GRO strived to offer world-class childcare programs for nearly 2,000 children daily in modern learning environments. Our schools focused on child outcomes and high performing teams and U-GRO was, and remains the premier provider of child daycare and preschool education in South-Central Pennsylvania.Throughout my career, I’ve understood and appreciated that we get more done, working together. So at U-GRO, we were laser-focused on providing the best setting for teams of gifted teachers doing what they love, to inspired results. U-GRO ranked among the Top 50 nationally prior to our sale to The Learning Care Group in 2020.Prior to joining U-GRO, my professional background included positions within the consumer-packaged goods industry at General Foods Corporation (Kraft Heinz Company, NASDAQ: KHC), Nielsen (Nielsen Holdings plc, NYSE: NLSN) and Helene Curtis Industries (Unilever, NYSE: UL).Now that I’m not working, I value having the opportunity to contribute to a better world and give back, mostly through Christian-focused activities and non-profit organizations. Board work and other efforts for me has included senior living, education, and church roles, with a current swing towards helping neighbors living in poverty, specifically housing and food insecurities for children and families.
