I'm responsible for the business continuity and risk framework and process (BCP, DRP, crisis). I have also in charge the management of disaster recovery related projects from an operational point of view. This is a very transversal position, from the supplier to the end user. Beside business continuity, I have also been involved in the ITIL (IT Infrastucture Library) processes (configuration and problem management). I'm ITIL (foundation) and ISO31000 (Risk Management) certified.

I'm responsible of the 3G Access Network design, from the strategic plans ediction to the acceptance. This includes the follow-up of the third party partners. Responsible at the Orange side of a nation-wide Access Network safety retrofit project. The position evolved towards transversal program management tasks (HR, site acquisition, building, design, coordination).

ASTRID is a nationwide public safety mobile operator, based on the TETRA ETSI standard. TETRA is the evolution of the many PMR (Professional Mobile Radio) networks towards a wide integrated trunked network. I'm managing a small team of engineers involved in RF planning, Optimization of the Access Network (Base Stations and Air Interface). This covers both operational and engineering tasks (measurements, analysis, troubleshooting, technical studies, management of measurement/simulation tools, public procurements, network extension roll-out).

Proximus is the historical Belgian GSM/UMTS operator. I first started as a RF planner engineer, acting (RF-wise) from the base station location definition to its integration in the network and follow-up of the performance. Then, I moved to the National Engineering team where I've been managing RF-related projects (antennas, repeaters, parameters,...).

Thomson-CSF Electronics Belgium (now Thales) located in Tubize, SW of Brussels, is a manufacturer of telecommunication equipment for the military industry. I've been managing the choice (technical characteristics & supplier) of both mechanical & electronics components entering the design of the equipment.

Management of twisted pairs, microwave & optic fibre transmission links operated in parallel (for teleprotection/network monitoring purpose) of the energy distribution network of Electrabel, the Belgian historical energy distributor.
