As a commercial manager, I am involved in the hedging of our products, writing and reviewing contracts, structuring the deals and finding ways to maximise profits.

Worked on commercial and operational aspects of Fortrec’s plant in Korea. In addition, did business development, evaluated potential investments and developed new products for the company. Was also the sustainability lead for the company.

Working with Fortrec Capital, was tasked with the development of various products and projects, one of which led to the first purchase of an asset by the group.Did commercial evaluation of potential projects while also supporting trading activities and doing product development.

Led the sales and business development in the Indian and Middle Eastern markets for the company, I contributed to the development of the business in difficult market conditions, achieving sales targets while concurrently expanding the customer base and furthering business relationships with existing customers.

The principal installation analysis engineer based in Singapore for Chevron’s Project in Thailand, developing methodologies and driving the installation analysis.

The principal installation analysis engineer based in Perth, Australia for the 1.8 billion USD Ichthys project. There, I led the installation analysis for the Semac 1 vessel while co-ordinating with other Saipem offices in multiple countries. My work also involved identifying problems, proposing solutions and training junior engineers

As part of the engineering team in Saipem, I worked on tenders and gave engineering support for various projects and departments. My work led directly to the award of the 1.8 billion USD Ichthys project.

As a junior engineer, I learnt the basics of installation analysis and project management. Working on offshore projects in Australia and Vietnam, I came up with installation methodologies for pipeline installation, including coming up with a novel solution for installing plastic pipe offshore in a cost-effective manner. Within 4 months, I learnt the basics of process engineering and single-handedly came up with the hydraulic calculation and piping design for a produced water system on a key installation vessel.
