Hello, I am Orchi, an electrical engineer with a passion for advanced analytics, designing, research, and simulations. I have used various tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Simulink to design electrical systems and perform load calculations. I am proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI, and I have basic experience with programming PLCs. In my current role at S&C Electric Canada Ltd., I design source transfer control schemes using hardwired logic and PLCs, maintaining standard with mechanical drawings and ensuring seamless power transfers. I create detailed electrical diagrams, drawings and reports using MicroStation and Zuken-E3 software, adhering to CSA, ANSI, and UL standards. I support the manufacturing team by addressing design queries, lead change management, develop wiring diagrams, optimize control device layouts, and stay updated with industry advancements.My academic background includes a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the American International University-Bangladesh. I have completed various academic projects, including designing electrical drafting and Wiring for a whole building using AutoCAD, designing batteries for hybrid vehicles using MATLAB and Simulink and a smart parking management system using Arduino and MATLAB.
