Cosylab is the world leader in providing sophisticated, economical, and state-of-the-art control solutions for large Big Physics facilities (such as particle accelerators, tokamaks for nuclear fusion and radio telescopes) and Particle Therapy facilities to treat cancer with the most advanced technology available.Development of particle therapy business is my key responsibility in Cosylab. This technology only recently crossed the chasm from being an R&D and innovation field to becoming an established medical industry. It is using state-of-the-art particle accelerator technology as well as other medical technology to provide highly efficient cancer treatment.

Primarily positioned as an e-commerce consultant and project manager on all IBM WebSphere Commerce projects, but then also played a crucial role in sales, trying to introduce reliable, scalable, cost-effective and on-demand software solutions to the customers.Main responsibilities: • Leading a team of WebSphere Commerce developers and consultants.• Defining exact technical specifications on B2B, B2C and B2S solutions.• Making strategic decisions on where to focus company’s development on.• Consulting on IT architecture and DB2 LUW optimization.• Reporting to the CEO and presenting project plans to the clients.• Making recruitment decisions.• Training courses all over Europe and presenting on IT conferences and events worldwide.• Providing presales support for all main clients.• Planning IT development budget. • Defining project budgets and financial scope for services provided to main clients.

At first specialized for J2EE and IBM DB2 relational database performance optimization and advanced monitoring. Later made a deep dive into IBM WebSphere Commerce platform and have been involved in a variety of projects on that platform ever since, providing comprehensive B2B, B2S & B2C solutions for multinational enterprises.Main responsibilities: • Training IT courses all over Europe.• Implementing J2EE solutions.• Providing pre-sales support, making technical presentations to the customers.• Consulting on DB2 optimization and J2EE architecture.• Incorporating new technologies and train the newly hired developers.• Defining integration standards for company’s main B2B, B2C and B2S projects.
