-To liaise with the Airport / Hotel Representatives and assist passengers / in-resort clients to the best of their ability and hence ensure that they have a satisfactory experience, including at the airport and with the hotel / Arabian Adventures services. -To attend telephone inquiries and provide assistance and information to Tour Operators and EK Outstations as well as passengers and in-resort clients in a courteous and professional manner such that it creates a positive impact for EK, Arabian Adventures and the destination. -To offer alternatives when requested services cannot be confirmed and hence ensure materialization of each and every request. -To ensure that liability for services provided by contracted suppliers exists to enable their invoices to be processed accurately for payment. -To provide market and competitor information as well as client / passenger feedback on products / services to the Tours Officer along with suggestions for improving the same. -To process all Reservation Requests from Tour Operators and EK Network within the stipulated time-frame. -To ensure all services booked by Tour Operators and EK Network are charged for as per the negotiated contracts/tariffs and invoiced / payment marked accurately. -To efficiently sell and assist all passengers with their requests for hotel. -To ensure all services booked are charged for as per the selling price guidelines and payment collected and marked accurately.

-Reporting to the banquet manager in proper attire as pre schedule-Communicate and administer selling strategy for all function rooms to all internal parties-Distribute all complimentary and complaints letters to appropriate departments and manager.-Identity operational limitations and sell only what we advertise and can effectively manage operationally-Maintain effective and appropriate liaison with clients whilst on property for site-Liaise with sales team on any corporate or group issue and action accordingly following consultation-A good understanding and knowledge of the all function rooms and kitchen-To be responsible for achieving required Conferencing and Groups revenues and profits, whilst maintaining the agreed F&B standards-To minimize operating cost by using all equipment and products in accordance with guidelines set and ensure all equipment are turned off at the end of the shift-To be aware of any activities/ events operating within the hotel in order to promote and maximize sales-To assist with monitoring and reordering any stores items minimizing where possible to avoid over expenditure-Provide a bullet point fiscal month summary to actual results to budget and forecast to banquet manager -Produce a monthly manpower forecast-Maintain effective and appropriate liaison with clients whilst on property for site-Actively participate in the daily briefing-Present appropriate topics at staff meeting as requested-Manage handover of groups business to operational staff on a timely basis

-Assures highest possible level of guest satisfaction. Responsible for capturing sales through reservations and sales inquiries. Coordinates front office activities to assure that guest service standards are consistently met and optimum numbers of rooms are occupied. Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees. -Sells the value of Al Raha Beach Hotel to all inquiries (via telephone and in person) and strives to convert them into reservations and occupied rooms. -Responsible for conducting courtesy calls within 20 minutes after guest check-in. -Probes to uncover as much information from guests as possible to assist in the gathering of potential sales leads, as well as understanding/defining market segmentation and company information. -Processes guest reservations, registrations, payments, and departures. -Handles collection efforts of all in house balances and notifies management of potential liabilities. -Balances all cash, check, credit card and city ledger accounts through verification. Shift reports and performs audit functions if assigned. -Responsible for thorough understanding and effective performance of property management system. -Maintain and organize work area and clean model, lobby and Front Desk area daily. -Respond to all guest requests and follow through to assure satisfactory outcome and compliance. -Offers Guest assistance when needed whenever possible. -Complies with all safety and security policies in accordance with Al Raha Beach Hotel standards. -Involves cross training into the housekeeping and laundry areas so that assistance can be given as needed. -Responsible for performing competitive checks nightly to other hotels in area. -Educates competitors on using Al Raha Beach Hotel as an option for overflow guests.
