As a Studio Photographer at Backcountry, I am responsible for capturing high-quality images that showcase the unique features and appeal of outdoor gear and apparel for our online store. My role involves working closely with the E-commerce teams to produce visually compelling photographs that align with Backcountry’s brand and e-commerce strategies.In my position, I utilize my expertise in photography and lighting to create striking images that highlight products in their best light. As a teaching assistant in the Photography department's darkroom area at UVU, my primary responsibility is to assist the photography instructor in conducting classes. This includes ensuring that the darkroom equipment and supplies are in good working condition and readily available for students to use. I also provide guidance and technical support to students as they work on their photographic projects, and help with grading assignments.Additionally, I am responsible for organizing and preparing materials for classes and monitoring the darkroom's safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage to equipment. I strive to create a positive and productive learning environment for students, and I am always available to answer any questions or address any concerns they may have. Overall, I am committed to helping students develop their skills and succeed in the photography program at UVU.

As a computer lab assistant at UVU in the Photography Department's Printing Lab area, my primary responsibility is to support the photography instructor in conducting classes and ensuring that the printing lab equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available for student use. This may involve assisting students with printing their photographs, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support, and ensuring that the lab remains clean and organized.I am responsible for monitoring the printing lab's safety protocols and ensuring that students follow proper procedures to prevent accidents or damage to equipment. and tutor students with Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom. Others include printing with large format printers. Also, assist other students.I strive to create a positive and productive learning environment for students and to help them develop their skills and succeed in the photography program at UVU. I am always available to answer any questions or provide assistance to students as needed.
