My most recent corporate position in the technical recruitment industry involved working across cross-functional teams while spearheading my own project. My next company would be community focused utilizing technology in innovative ways.Growing up an immigrant in a multicultural neighborhood, community has made a major impact in my life, family, and educational endeavors. I was able to create my own community where I felt a sense of belonging and security, which in turn allowed me to give back through volunteering and community engagement.The concept of community came back when I was struggling to declare a major. It was not until the first geography class that I realized I wanted to major in geography. My studies in Geography emphasized how technology affects education and mobility, especially public transportation. Human Geography with its focus on human relations within communities, cultures, and the environment especially interested me.This path led me most recently to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic organization within a start-up environment while working part-time as a Barista for Starbucks. I also completed a Tech Sales Apprenticeship with COOP. My next company should be community-oriented, giving back and upholding diversity and inclusion.
