Chassis and Suspension Design Member in Tecnológico de Monterrey Formula Student UK team.I applied both the knowledge that I was taught through my college and my experience working in the field of engineering for manufacturing, as well as my personal learnings acquired through my constant self-taught process driven by my passion for motorsport, design, and manufacturing.I led the simulation and design for manufacturing using CAE and CAM technologies to produce the first chassis in the history of the team. I singlehandedly developed a modular fixture capable of adapting to new and improved versions of the chassis for generations to come. I designed the fixture focusing on integrating design features to facilitate the assembly process and maximize the material we had at our disposal, taking into account the available equipment. I even integrated a nomenclature system to locate individual parts of the fixture without the need for referencing their location in the computer.It's sad to say goodbye, but I know that the work I did while on the team will transcend my time there and mark a turning point in the team's history books.

Design and Engineering Department Intern at MateriamI was introduced to various manufacturing techniques while working hand in hand with engineers and industrial designers. Where I applied my knowledge to individually develop a project consisting of reverse engineering a sheet metal assembly to optimize costs and relocate the production line to Mexico.During the development of the project, I created a parametric model to adapt to different versions of the same assembly and completely redesigned it to best suit the manufacturing capabilities of the company. I collaborated with technicians to identify possible setbacks within the manufacturing process and understand areas of opportunity to reduce costs and maximize profit through the prototype development stages.
