As CTO of the ION Market Division I am responsible of the technology strategy of the 5 asset class business lines: Equities, Cleared Derivatives, Fixed Income, Securities Finance, FX; as well as the Buy-Side / Asset Management development and the Core Architecture Team that provides the software infrastructure to my division and the other divisions of the Group.My responsibility is also extended to manage the Delivery organization, having End to End responsibility over the delivery of our products to the end clients, in addition to the technology leadership, working side by side with Chief Product Officer.I am currently leading a team of 1400+ individuals across the globe across the Development, Implementation, Operations, Support and Infrastructure functions in all the business lines of ION Markets. I have the following main responsibilities:- Coordination with the Group CEO and Capital Markets Executive Team to ensure the Development and Delivery organization is supporting efficiently and transparently the division, achieving the expected financial objectives.- Technical Product Leadership: setting and positioning the long term technical product vision through the right blend of client visits, industry knowledge and technical excellence; including leading re-engineering programmes and interacting with Sales, and Product Management / Marketing.- Core Architecture and Infrastructure Leadership: oversight the product architecture across the division and definition of the infrastructure to accelerate developments and reduce costs.

As CTO of the Foreign Exchange, Rates, and Credit (FRC) Division, I am managing a multi-site development team of 150+ individuals across India, Europe, and US. My main responsibilities are:- Software Development and Delivery: oversight of the development teams and architecture to define the delivery of the technical roadmap, timely managing deliveries and client commitments, ensuring the highest standards of quality, ergonomics, performance, and supportability.- Responsible for technical leadership for key re-engineering programmes (FX) and new business workflow management initiatives (MiFID 2 / Regulatory Requirements)- Continuous engagement with the Sales and Marketing teams for pre-sales and commercial support activities, establishing direct relationships with clients

Responsible for Managing a team of 70+ Developers across North America, Europe, and Asia, for supporting the FX eTrading and Client Technology Businesses:- Development from scratch of an end to end Front Office solution for FX eTrading based on ION Technology, integrated with a portfolio of other ION Group solutions for Middle and Back office.- Development of cross-asset class solutions for exposing the liquidity of Financial Institutions (Banks or Corp Treasury) to internal and internal clients, via highly automated workflows. In particular the team is responsible for Single Dealer Platform and Order Management System solutions, supporting multiple classes in all Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) Area.Adopter of Agile Methodologies and in particular Scrum - LeSS framework (http://less.works) across the existing multi-site development team.

Responsible for Managing a team of 40+ Developers across Europe and Asia, for supporting the Client Connectivity Business for Fixed Income.Development Responsibilities included:- Dealer to Customer Connectivity Gateways (e.g. Tradeweb, Bloomberg, Reuters, Market Axess ... )- Cross- asset class Single Dealer Platform- Swap Workflow Management (e.g. Markit Wire Affirmation Workflow for Interest Rate Derivatives)

Design and Development from scratch of a proprietary cross-asset class Single Dealer Platform (SDP), based on ION Technology, which is now in production with several ION Clients and integrated at different levels with Clients pre-existing portals.Leading a team of 20+ developers across Europe and Asia, being the main contact for Business and Clients during Technical Solution Analysis, Integration and Roll-out phases.
