I am CEO at Rockol.com, an Italian digital media company I founded back in 1995.I oversee business development and growth, covering strategy, marketing and partnerships day in day out.My career developed in the media, IT and Entertainment industriesWhile studying Economics and Business at the Università L. Bocconi - where I graduated in 1990 (major: Marketing) - I also became a free lance music journalist. In 1992 I co-started an IT hardware company and created the laptop PC brand “Newchip”: I was a partner and head of marketing and sales there until 1999. In 1995 I incorporated both the web agency M&G Interactive and Rockol.com, today Italy's top music news publisher (rockol.it). Online music and marketing became my professional environment ever since, enabling me to be part of the select group of the so called Italian internet pioneers - I participated in the foundation of IAB Italy, serving its board of directors for three consecutive mandates.In those seminal years I authored three books released by Etas Libri: "Internet marketing" (1999-2000), "Il commercio elettronico" (2000) and "La musica online" (2001). In 2005 I became a partner in the digital marketing company Version4 and in 2006 I was appointed Italian partner at Comteg, an international online media consulting company and network. Besides working full time as a digital publisher, I lecture at the Università Cattolica di Milano on the "Comunicazione musicale per la discografia e i media" master class.
