Giampiero Rufini, a co-founder of Decisyon, is VP, Product Management. In 2005, Giampiero joined with Franco Petrucci at Decisyon, and started to support businesses in their use of the innovative Decisyon platform. Through his work, he helped businesses coordinate plant operations and gain a greater level of efficiency and execution. He has managed several projects for pharmaceutical customers, merging lean production principles (value creation, pull, flow, goal alignment, continuous improvement) with IT and Decisyon platform principles (advanced technology, usability, control, integration, security, scalability, performance, collaboration). Giampiero draws on all of these valuable experiences in his work on the Decisyon/Plant product. Giampiero started his career in 1998 in Computer System Validation, and then worked in Production Area Support and System Development for pharmaceutical companies. In 2007, given his CSV and Business Process Analysis background, Giampiero became the Quality Manager for Decisyon, leading the company successfully through the ISO 9001:2008 certification process, and promoting a continuous improvement culture throughout the company.
