I currently write about art and photography at Alley Oop, the blog of Il Sole 24 ORE. It’ a very interesting challenge to test and taste my writing passion, to think critically and to be (better, try to be) always updated about topics that I care.

I have been working in the Publishing Industry since 2002, and I have especially focused on Editor tasks and Iconographic Image Research. Now I am Editor and Manager of the Iconographic Office at 24 ORE Cultura, Publishing House in Milan part of Gruppo 24 ORE. My tasks are: conception and planning of editorial products; licensing agreements for copyright image and reproduction rights, as for photos as for artworks, for our editorial products (illustrated books of art, architecture, design, photography, etc…) ; managing the iconographic budget for each editorial product, according with distribution channels (bookshops, newspaper kiosks, ebook, etc..; worldwide, one language one country, etc…); responsibility of my working team; coordinate the national and international relationships with companies, museums, cultural institutions, international photographic agencies and professional photographers and architectural offices, fit for multimedia-editorial work. My skills are: excellent writing aptitude, humanistic background, intellectual curiosity and a good creative working aptitude, problem-solving, ability in team working and fluent in English and French both oral and written.

I began working in Federico Motta Editore as iconographic searcher (September 2002), then I become office manager (July 2005) with the following tasks: licensing agreements for reproduction rights for our editorial products (illustrated books of art, architecture, photography, encyclopaedias), managing the iconographic budget for each editorial product, responsibility of my working team.

Provision manager, customer assistant and took care of the relationships with banks.
