About Giancarlo Fanelli

I am passionate about new technologies, new ideas and new ways of building products. With my 20 years of professional experience in several industries, including Software Development, Cloud Infrastructure, Custom Electronics, Tier 1 Invest Banks, Energy and Utilities, Transportation and Telco providers, I am capable of driving the evolution of the technology stack in almost every field. As a Business Consultant first, and Chief Technology Officer later, I have always provided fact-based recommendations to my customers or my board, and defined actionable recommendations to achieve results.I am able to communicate effectively my ideas and the results of my teams to all levels, having worked with C-level and their direct reports on a daily basis in the last 15 years. I am currently working for a revolutionary Cloud Service Provider in the MSP space: we provide the easiest and most accessible Remote Monitoring and Management service currently available, and the only one specifically designed for the IoT world. Initially as a co-founder and a full-stack Software Developer and Architect, I helped the company in setting up the main solution. However, I also startup the IT operations (managing the technical support and DevOps team), company operations (including HR activities and pre-sales support) and new product design and launch. I've lately assisted our main customers to reach their success in using Domotz. As the CTO of the company, I am currently in charge of the whole technical team.I believe that the stronger the team, the stronger will be every single member of the team. Even though I am considered a guide in my company, given my extensive experience within IT world, I recognize the value and the merit of every single Engineer working with me.
