Born and raised in Trento, in the north of Italy, I've always been fascinated by nature and outdoor life, so when I first found out a way to travel and work outdoors, always in different venues, I picked up the occasion. After high school, I started working part-time as a live shows technician for lights and audio, mainly with preparation and revision of the materials and equipment for the events. In the years I extended my competences working with video productions and installations of video equipment, providing the initial set up and then the assistance to the customers. In 2013 I opened my own business, offering my experience as a freelance technician.From 2014 to 2016 I moved to Sydney, Australia, to improve my English skills, challenge myself and gain more experience in different jobs and in my previous areas of knowledge, interested in how showbiz is run in other parts of the world. Here I started to work as a Rigger, and since then I never stopped.In 2018 I've added automation to my area of expertise, obtaining the certification as a Kinesys Vector and K2 operator. With my background, I can now think as a rigger while programming and operating moving loads during shows, and this gives me a better idea of what the big picture is in both worlds. With this knowledge, I've been able to collaborate as Automation Specialist at EXE Technology, testing and working at their variable speed products and training other people to use them.Currently, I work full time as Automation Manager at EXE Technology. I hold the Australian certifications to perform Dogging and Basic Rigging, the IRATA level 2 for rope access work, EWP, Kinesys and Movecat operator certificate and I am planning to get more certifications to be able to work worldwide.
