Accountabilities:Support the product development process of bags and small leather goods by developing new materials (mainly leather and fabrics) based on the collection guidelines.Support the Design Center team in the creative phase of the new materials collection.Scout the leather market in order to find new and creative suppliers.Negotiate commercial conditions with raw materials suppliers (tanneries, fabrics and metal components) and scout the supply market in order to find competitive solutions, in order to maximize product margins through the purchase cost optimization.Develop and provide planning of purchasing in accordance with company strategies and objectives.Perform Raw Material lot selection in order to identify the best purchase lot, based on Bulgari quality standards.Monitor the evolution of components and raw materials stock and perform KPI's evaluation.Monitor the components and raw materials market trends in order to identify and evaluate possible new/alternative raw material or components purchasing.Guarantee on time deliveries of Raw Materials and components based on finished product manufacturing plan.Promote new projects to reduce lead time and speed to market timing.I manage a team of three people, two Specialized Buyers for leather and metal components and one Senior Buyer.I Report to the Operation Director

I consider myself as an expert in strategic purchasing of raw materials for industrial use, subject to prices / stock market fluctuations.Managing 55 million per year of buying for leathers and 5 million of chemicals and more than 50 suppliers across the world.I actively seek new technologies and suppliers all over the world. I negotiate prices and buying conditions. I create and oversee systems that allow the board within my organizations to constantly control and share the strategic decision about strategic supplies,All this process contribute at lowering the cost of each transaction.

Joined Natuzzi, the world leader manufacturer in leather sofa at the end of 2001. I was based in the tannery of the group in Udine, for technical training of about 18 months on the raw material leather, before undertaking the actual work of Buyer.I was in tannery Natco (Leather Natuzzi Group) for four years, with the qualification of buyers, following the purchases of raw materials not only finished in the European Union, Eastern Europe, Oceania. Turnover purchases about 30,000,000 euros.
