Cost Innovation (Value Engineer) tasks:- Work with Head Quarter engineers/Marketing Dept/ Purchasing Dept to find out cost down ideas, research potential vendor and check efficiency- Evaluate offers and negotiate with vendor about new price- Co work with Quality Control Dept (QA, QC) to manage quality of new change items, check stock level at vendors and track their capacity production for timely delivery- Monitor on production of new change items in main lineAdmin tasks:- Track and analyse data to make Cost Innovation report - Follow up performance of cost down ideas and price history on SAP- Using BOM system to check component of items- Sample shipment arrangement- File maintenance for internal database- Other tasks assigned by manager
