 Inspect the rationality, legitimacy, truthfulness and prudency in business administration of BOD, BOM, including the review of uniformity and appropriateness of accounting works, statistics and preparation of financial statements. Validate the adequacy, legitimacy and truthfulness of the income statements, annual and biannual financial statements, reports on performance of the Board of Directors. Review, inspect and evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control, internal audit, risk management and early warning systems of the Group.

 Assess of the conformity of the proposed treaties with Vietnamese law and represent Vietnamese Government on negotiation to sign and enforce international treaties. Notable Treaties: the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EV-FTA); the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTTP).  Negotiated and provided legal advice to ODA loans from international donors (World Bank, AFD, JICA) as requested by foreign inves.Notable Projects: Vinh Tan 1 Thermal Project; Nghi Son Refinery Project; Dung Quat Refinery. Engage and advise state authorities to handle requests/complaints from foreign investors, and assist Vietnamese entities against international disputes settlementsNotable Cases: Corporate income tax from transaction of USD 750 million between British Petroleum and TNK (PSC Block 06.1); restructuring a Vinashin’s loan of USD 600 million from Credit Suise AG).
