I am a backend developer with a focus on low-latency streaming, primarily using WebRTC for the past 10 years. Three years ago, I started exploring the decentralized network domain, specifically focusing on network latency. Two years ago, myself and a group of colleagues formed the 8xFF team with the goal of creating an open-source decentralized overlay network that can be applied to various domains such as media servers, IoT, and infrastructure. Throughout my career, I have primarily worked with C++, Node.js, and Java/Scala, but a few years ago, I made the switch to Rust.
