I am a fourth-year Molecular Biology student at Chapman University, where I also minor in Entrepreneurship and play as a receiver on the football team. I have a passion for scientific exploration and innovation, as well as a keen interest in applying these discoveries to practical business solutions.I have gained hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, Western Blotting, and SDS-PAGE, through my coursework and my participation in the Grand Challenges Initiative program. My team won an award for our project on evaluating the behavior of C. elegans with and without Huntington's disease, and we planned to use CRISPR technology to remove the disease DNA. I also have developed customer service and teamwork skills through my role as a caterer at Jeff Duerson Staffing, where I worked in multiple types of social events and ensured the needs of the guests were met.
