Gianluca is currently VP Operations and Strategy at Ceridian. Previously, he was the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement. Prior to returning to the Public Sector, Gianluca was Vice President, Operations at ARGUS Software responsible for the Global Maintenance Renewal business and strategic Global backoffice operations including IT, MIS, Legal, and Talent Management. Gianluca has over 12 years of senior leadership experience in Operations, Strategic Planning and public affairs. At Altus Group, Gianluca led strategic initiatives on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of Altus Group, including the development, management and implementation of various shared services programs. He also conducted functional due diligence and acted as an integration lead for US-based acquisitions. Prior to joining Altus in 2008, he worked in Canadian politics where he held various titles including political advisor to a minister from 2004-2006 and senior political advisor to the leader of the opposition from 2006-2008. Gianluca is an undergraduate of the University of Toronto obtained certification from the ICPSR Program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is a Master of Arts candidate from L'Universite De Montreal / Concordia. Gianluca is an active member on the Board of the Elevate and is on the Board of Governors of Junior Achievement of Central Ontario.
