Extroverted, multilingual, experienced in technical management and R&D, both academic and product oriented, and in having constant interaction with managers, technical team, external partners and customers.I lead the technical development of Research projects and I coordinate the writing of fund winning project proposals.My technical background is on image processing and, more specifically, in 3D video compression.My professional focus areas are:- Volumetric video and point cloud capturing, compression, and transmission- AI based image processing (i.e. NeRF, 3D Data Enhancement, Neural Networks)- Networking solutions for volumetric video optimizationA big part of my role involves managing the development within national, international and European R&D projects and grants, all related to video technologies and with a particular focus on immersive VR/AR applications.
