The Revenue Recognition Center of Excellence was created to be solely responsible for providing revenue recognition guidance. Extensive marketing to and partnering with Business Finance Units to gather a more in-depth knowledge base of the various current and future contracts that would be worthwhile to review, analyze and conclude on. Provided innovative, but proven reasonable, interpretations of revenue standards to consistently exceed Finance partners’ expectations and desired outcomes of individual contracts ranging from annual revenue (total value) upward of $150M ($700M).

Managed and reviewed over 60% of the Group’s transactions (key lead during financial due diligence) with purchase prices up to $750M and acquired net assets up to $300M to ensure the appropriate accounting for complex aspects such as step acquisitions, minority interests and deferred consideration.Developed an acquired deferred revenue fair valuation approach that preserved $50M of future revenue for respective transactions and improved the internal model to value intangibles assets and automated the amortization schedules. Prepared, analyzed and interpreted valuation models for acquired intangible assets and investment fair value reviews. The reviews primarily included creating and analyzing discounted cash flow models and presenting results to senior management. Improved the investment impairment valuation approach for other fixed cost investment portfolio by developing a multiples/relative valuation approach as well as the financial statement/forecast approach.

Supervised financial statement audits and reviews of public or private banks, broker dealers, venture capital firms and investment management companies with total assets between $179M and $89B.Drafted and reviewed financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flow, statements of retained earnings, management discussion and analysis, and all supporting footnote disclosures.Reviewed and analyzed Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 11-K, 8-K and S-4 filings for compliance with the requirements of the PCAOB, U.S. GAAP and SOX.
