I am Gianluca Traina, a contemporary artist and designer born in Palermo in 1984. My art is a crossroads between tradition and innovation, exploring the synergies between art, fashion, and technology. My education in Fashion Design at Polimoda in Florence, followed by studies in Graphic Design and 3D Modeling, laid the foundation for my multidisciplinary career, allowing me to navigate effortlessly across different creative fields.My work is characterized by the fusion of diverse techniques, from photography and sculpture to weaving, and the innovative use of artificial intelligence in fashion creation. "PORTRAIT 360" is one of my most recognized projects, through which I experimented with the deconstruction and reassembly of the human image, exploring new dimensions of identity and visual perception.My artistic journey has been enriched by numerous international exhibitions and awards, such as winning the Asia Awards 2013 as the best designer. My participation in the AI Fashion Week with a collection inspired by the atmospheres and architectures of Samarkand highlighted my interest in integrating AI into the creative process, ranking me fourth and demonstrating the potential of technology in the evolution of fashion.My constant search for new creative expressions leads me today to experiment with innovative materials and 3D printing techniques, as well as exploring the field of generative art through the use of biological sensors and human-machine interaction. My art aims to bridge the Italian cultural heritage with the frontiers of technological innovation, inviting reflection on the evolution of human expression in the digital age.
