Changing the world a street at a time through person centred MH services and peer support

· 13th April 2018 achieved “Outstanding” CQC rating as registered manager for Southside Partnership Domiciliary Care Agency (supported living in Wandsworth, Lambeth, Westminster and Bromley). Received a congratulation letter from Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Jeremy Hunt.· Grew portfolio by about 35% retaining all existing contracts in Wandsworth and Lambeth, achieved new contracts through tenders (Richmond supported living and registered care) and direct awards mobilised at pace (Lambeth Shared Lives, Lambeth Outreach and additional Supported Living).· Proactively sourced business opportunities and modelled related services liaising with finance team.· Led on asset-based community development practice (e.g., street parties, work in partnership with LD England, NDTi, Mencap and Timebanking UK to foster inclusive neighbourhoods - 2013-present).· Delivered presentations and reports internally and externally regarding case studies about driving performance, learning from practice, achieving compliance, fast-paced mobilisations.· Coordinated review policies and procedures, recruitment formats, training content.

· Retained existing strategic contracts through transformation. Expanded Shared Lives from Wandsworth funded placements to include Richmond and Hounslow through tender. Proactively reviewed and smoothly phased out two community LD services that where no longer strategically relevant (2014). Improved KPIs and financial performance of services while achieving CQC compliance.· Filled 100% longstanding void bedrooms in supported living accommodations in my area involving quality auditors with lived experience and multiple promotion strategies.· Personally praised, along with my team, for the insights into the UK system in a letter from the Australian Minister for Disability Reform Jenny Macklin after her visits to my services (2012). · Providers’ rep at the Wandsworth LD clinical reference group (2013-2019). Providers’ rep at Leder (LD mortality review) Lambeth Group (2016-2019).· Supported individuals with LD and autism lobbying at the Houses of Parliament in 2016 and 2017.· Trained and coached managers in their role as safeguarding and disciplinary investigating officers.· Piloted new electronic mobile systems for care recording and HR monitoring.· Double nominated at the Rosen Award 2016 for the categories “Best Colleague” and “Change maker”.

- Responsible for a housing project for people with learning disabilities in Hounslow.· Won Staff Excellence Award 2011 within the category “Making a Difference” (supported individuals with LD and autism to move into a more suitable and independent housing).

- Supported housing for adults with learning disabilities and additional physical or sensory disabilities.- Learnt how to support individuals to achieve their goals in a supported living environment (Ealing).

· Delivered a consumer event at Kensington Olympia with responsibility over a large network of clients, sponsors and stakeholders in UK and Italy involving celebrities and communities. Met all targets.

· Increased sales by 65% expanding sponsors network and number of spectators.

· Delivered events and communication services for a number of clients, including Wiley (publisher), the Estorick Collection, the Foreign Press in London, Trondheim University, Peccioliper Foundation.

Managed external relationships, a press office, a call centre for a public-private company providing environmental services for 30 local authorities. Exceeded targets by introducing sponsorship income.

30 articles published in “Il Sole24Ore, the Italian financial newspaper (circulation 400,000).

· Increased circulation and achieved leadership in the local newspaper market. · Won the award “Torre d’Argento” in Carrara (2002).

· Started as a trainee, became a journalist and then a sub editor.
