Global Finalist and EMEA Champion 2022 CFA Institute Research ChallengeTogether with 4 colleagues, I have represented Politecnico di Milano in the 2022 CFA Institute Research Challenge. The competition provides university students with hands-on training and mentoring in financial analysis. Students work in teams to research and analyze a publicly traded company. Teams assume the role of a research analyst and are scored based on their ability to value a stock, with an initiation-of-coverage report, and presents their recommendation. Each team writes a research report on their assigned company with a buy, sell, or hold recommendation and is asked to present and defend their analysis to a panel of industry professionals.

I joined the governance team, actively collaborating in the management of an OTT streaming platform. Such an experience has enabled me to strengthen my capabilities, working in a highly dynamic and international environment. During these months of hard work and dedication, I have gained concrete experience of what it means to manage a process involving a diverse group of stakeholders. Moreover, I understood how to manage a release plan taking into account any possible complications.Last but not least, I was able to implement for the first time the agile approach that characterised all the activities performed during these months. In this way, I have enhanced my propensity for flexibility and my ability to adapt to different situations.

Together with my team, I took part to E-Lab, a mentorship programme offered by PoliHub. During this experience we had the opportunity to develop iVi, a startup with the aim of combining online and retail in the world of fashion, offering customers an innovative and engaging shopping experience.
