As the Mechanical Design Engineer of this start up company based in Malta, my role includes design, physical assembly and business relations. I generate designs for new light aircraft while also updating existing assemblies and documentation. I assist in physical assembly operations which leads to an increased appreciation of the design development process. Due to the varied nature of my role, I am also responsible for the company website, data traffic analysis, factory layout (updating existing infrastructure to a state of the art and work friendly environment), and company logistics handling. Lastly, I am involved in the company business road map, liaising with local authorities as well as potential customers and involved in trade meetings.

I was selected during my undergraduate degree at the University of Malta, by CEO Mr.Raphael Celier to join his company in summer in order to gain experience as a design engineer. My work involved designing parts for light aircraft specifically gyroplanes, using AutoDesk Inventor under the supervision of Senior Engineers.
