At the intersection of various disciplines and public engagement, my role at the Institute for Advanced Study, at the University of Amsterdam, has been providing me the necessary tools, skills, and communication strategies to be able to bridge to gap between science and the public. With a background in both Communication Science and Physics and Astronomy, I've embraced the challenge of translating complex scientific concepts into captivating narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.Additionally, my past journey as an English Second Language teacher and experience as a Science Educator at the Allan I. Carswell Astronomical Observatory (York University) honed my ability to connect with people across cultures and educational background, a skill I leverage to enhance science outreach programs. Committed to lifelong learning and interdisciplinary collaboration, I'm navigating my academic journey at UvA while contributing to the advancement of science communication.
