Have worked in the UHC New Jersey Dental Home Program from the 2017 inception to current. Was initially responsible for provider education and webinars during roll-out. My internship concentrated on the state mandate of Medicaid requirements to improve access to oral health services for adolescent members. The Dental Home Program assigns existing and new members to a specific provider responsible for securing appointments, coordinating overall dental health, and documenting their efforts in the patient record. I have followed reporting in subsequent quarters to determine the program’s success while trending the number of patients receiving dental services from 2018 to 2020 in the age group 1 - 20.• Worked closely with the UHC account manager and provided baseline research for competitor MCO dental home programs• Compiled data, mailings, Webinar PowerPoint presentations, and relevant material to a Milestone Tracker on a shared drive• Contacted essential providers for program feedback and suggestions
