During my breaks, I have begun to provide Dr. Garry Tozzi with office support. My primary responsibilities include interacting with patients by phone or in-person to provide information and maintain doctors' schedules. I collaborate with the rest of the office staff to maintain smooth operations in the office and team readiness for unexpected demands. I also ensured accurate and efficient database management and digital file storage to support operational and recordkeeping requirements.

I have been chosen by faculty members based on my academic success to undergo training and a semester-long course to learn the best strategies for supporting students in an introductory biology course and organic chemistry. I create lesson plans for a review of the past lectures’ materials and attend class lectures to provide the professor with in-class support. Additionally, I schedule and host workshops twice a week for students to practice and work on relevant concepts from class.

Each week, I create notes and study guides for students taking General Chemistry I to guide their focus for success, which we then go over together during our scheduled weekly meetings. I also aid students with test and study strategies and practice exercises to strengthen their problem-solving skills.

As the color lab intern, I was responsible for loading pigmented nail lacquer and acrylic polymer formulas into Keystone's spectrophotometer software. My work improved efficiencies with respect to color matching, color feasibility, and batch/adjustment prediction.
