When I was 5, I wanted to be a hot dog vendor on the corner of 30th and 2nd avenue.Why? High demand by multiple sources: taxi's on the go, parked cars from people shopping, kids from the playground and neighborhood folk! The 5 year old me had a plan. Efficiency and speed to keep up with varied and high demand... and a passion for hot dogs.As my mom tells it, each year I grew as did my dream. By the age of 8 my dream became an empire of hot dogs, shish kebabs, knishes, pretzels, roasted chestnuts and of course soft drinks to wash it all down, as friends dreamed of being president or a firefighter. As to the highest yielding sellers, I never would find out -- I still wonder at times. My service may have changed, but I live my 5 year old dream, now building Champion, a software that brings customer advocacy programs to revenue driving success.
