As a Morning Anchor/Reporter at KPIX - CBS News Bay Area, my mission is to deliver important information that informs and engages our diverse Bay Area communities. From headlines, to breaking news, to highlighting community members through storytelling, I aim to make a difference in each viewers lives by bringing them the information that matters most. I also accomplish this as our morning traffic anchor, delivering concise traffic reports that resonate with commuters. My years of experience and dedication shows my commitment to excellence in broadcast journalism.In addition to co-anchoring The Morning Edition, I also spend my day out in the community, enterprising compelling stories from start to finish. I produce, write, film and edit each of these stories, ranging from community issues to entertainment features. I also serve as a Social Media Manager for KPIX, where I oversee a small team of production assistants. Digital content an on-line reach has become an essential part to our industry's growth and exposure. It also gives viewers another way to get our information. Prior to my current position, I worked as host, anchor and digital media content creator at 95.7 The Game. This allowed me to extend my storytelling and broadcasting footprint into radio and podcasting. I also worked closely with our sales teams to create shows and digital content that brought in direct revenue while also engaging our audience at a deeper level. The development of successful podcasts and implementation of revenue-generating ideas reflect my dedication to innovation and my passion for continued industry growth.
