MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES P&L responsibilities for Italian sales company Reporting to my headquarter in Norway Responsible for Human Resources Manage a network direct sales force and distributors (7 Sales Engineers and 21 Distributors + 1 Distributor in Greece) Responsible for marketing activities Current missions include CRM and e-commerce solutionFACTS Started in December 1991 as Managing Director of the Italian sales company. In 19 years I grew the business from the start-up to June 2010, with a revenues of 10 Mill. € and 15 employees In 1994 Laerdal was the promoter of the biggest scientific society for medical training in Italy: IRC, Italian Resuscitation Council In 1998 Laerdal together with Philips established the first PAD (Public Access Defibrillation) in Europe: Piacenza In 1999, we got ISO 9002 certified, followed by an ISO 9001 certification From 2001 to 2005 I took over as Business Development Manager the Greek market In 2003 Laerdal established the 1st simulation centre in Italy and the 4th in Europe for training the professional healthcare: doctors and nurses In 2008 Laerdal started the 1st project in Italy to educate high school students in Como on CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
