The meaning of co-working includes freelance job and collaborations with people who work in different fields. Cowo® - Coworking Project is a shared vision of Massimo Carraro. Nowadays the community consist of 60 coworking spaces in 37 cities in Italy and Spain (Barcelona).The project is designed for whoever has a professional space and want to share it in a collaborative and sustainable way. The company mod-o sas, which hosts the Cowo®, dedicates 5 desks and 2 meeting rooms.

During the 2nd World War, my grandfather was forced to move from the countryside to the city center, to work in a war factory. At the end of the war, he started up his own company. He soon became an excellent craftsman in chemical metal plating. He handed down his knowledge to my father, who is still today an essential technical support for the modern factory. In 1992 I decided to help my father with a new project: the development of the procedures to create a lean manufacturing model. We forced the development of the process to offer higher quality service, improve work conditions and resolve pollution problems. This vocation has become our mission; we are now a specialized galvanic factory and our highly technical lab ensures that our small metal parts meet the highest standards for durability and finishing. Due to lack of time, I chose to leave the Company in the able hands of my father.
