Building a platform for fully automating the provisioning of servers and orchestrating the deployment of highly available services by leveraging the power of open source tools such as Puppet, MCollective, Cobbler, Cloud-init, libvirtd/KVM, RHEL6/7 (and others). The Laboratory of Heat Transfer and Environmental Engineering (LHTEE) belongs to the Energy Section of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Developing mostly web applications, but also participating and collaborating with scientists and young researchers on the development of Air Pollution Dispersion models, Micro-scale Fluid Dynamics and Environmental related Information Aggregation.Exposed to a variety of platforms, programming languages and technologies. Also met and worked with many geeky, very smart people. Most notable acquired experience: Perl, C, Java, PHP, SQL, TCL/TK, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, MySQL, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris.
