As a recent graduate who studied Computer Science at Old Dominion University, I've learned various coding languages including C++, Java, and Python, and worked in teams to complete programming tasks. My excitement for programming has led me to my passion of Data Science.During my corporate summer intern experience, I shadowed a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt III in finding intersections between two major segments of the company for their upcoming integration. We used tools such as Tableau and other data visualization tools to show the projected effectiveness of the new process and reduction of cost from outsourcing. After an energetic summer, I've taught myself the fundamentals of Data Science in Python. Such as, concatenating, transforming, grouping, aggregation, data visualization, and web scraping.Now, I am pursuing my PhD in Data Science at the University of Virginia to further my knowledge and make a real impact in today’s society.
