Gia Zapattini multidisciplinary, award-winning, licensed architect with over fifteen years of international experience ranging from civic, cultural, corporate, hospitality, luxury retail and residential, education and workplace projects. Her experience in a wide range of interior design and architecture functions focus a strong conceptual approach and eye for detail. Gia is fluent in 4 languages and understands the diversity of cultures which influences her design and enhances her ability to practice locally and internationally. Adding to her extensive skill set is a broad base familiarity with marketing and business development. She is particularly adept at leading concept design workshop, project management, and team building and serves as an ideal liaison between clients and other stakeholders. Gia lectures as a design leader in the field of Interior Design & Architecture and was recently awarded “40 under 40 for Design and Construction Class of 2019” by Building Design and Construction, "Architect of the Year" by the American Institute of Architecture, Miami Chapter, 2014 and “Alumni Honoree Class of 2019 " by Kansas State University school of Interior Architecture and Product Design. Gia served as President of the AIA Miami in 2019 and is currently serving as part of the Urban Design Review Board for the City of Miami. The Board’s purpose is to review and recommend to the Director of Planning and Zoning based on Miami 21 Code, urban quality, compatibility and contribution to the architectural and social fabric of the City of Miami. This board has a direct impact in the urban fabric of the city of Miami.
