An accomplished broadcaster, Andrea presented Weekends with Andrea Gibbs on ABC across Australia from 2015 until 2024, earning a dedicated audience every Saturday & Sunday following Roy & HG. Her voice became a staple across the nation, featuring in numerous ad campaigns, including for Squarespace and Dairy Farmers. A guest speaker at prestigious events like Disrupted Festival of Ideas, TEDxPerth and Marieke Hardy’s Women of Letters and I'm With Her, Andrea's influence extends far beyond the stage.As a writer, her debut play, Barracking for the Umpire, produced by Black Swan State Theatre Company in 2022, garnered critical acclaim and was one of three new Australian works selected for the Australian Theatre Festival in New York City in 2023.
