- Introduced innovative method to extract modal characteristics from remote footbridges using low cost sensors, including built-in smart phone accelerometers.- Designed full scale footbridge deck section model and conducted wind tunnel experiments at Tongji University, China- Created first tools in design thinking to infuse human-centered insights into engineering design.

- Contributed to strategic planning to integrate local builder training, industry partnerships and technical advisory board activities.

- Managed field staff in Rwanda, Haiti, Panama and Nicaragua to build 24 footbridge projects which created access to education, healthcare and economic opportunity for 100,000 people.- Developed operational capacity to support 30+ footbridge projects per year and created systems to reach 100+ footbridges in three years.- Created Bridge Corps, a technical volunteer arm which provides technical expertise to local governments, engineers, and builders around the world to assist with footbridge planning and construction. Grew Bridge Corps into a network of 82 engineering and construction professionals within 10 months.

- Restructured the University Program to be financially self-sustaining and congruent withbroader local capacity building and strategic planning goals of Bridges to Prosperityprogram countries.- Coordinated training, project planning and collaboration with Bridges to Prosperity staff for twelve student-led footbridge project teams.
