Lead on developing a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and operational plan to transform GSK Canada approach to grants and donations from transactional to social values-based. Led the cross-Canada launch of a global health/mental health wellbeing program for 2660+ employees with a global record-setting success of 35% program enrollment on launch day. End-to-end execution of 25 health and wellbeing events in French and English and attended by 1750+ staff. Led a team of 70+ Health and Wellbeing Champions across Canada to educate, promote and encourage program participation in and awareness of organizational health and wellbeing programs. Developed and launched communication strategy to increase employee awareness of benefits, including EAP. Analyzed health and wellbeing benefits data to support bench-marking and drive strategic improvements. Responsible for establishing an international presence for SE Health through consulting, business development, and training/education partnerships/initiatives within the newly formed SE Global department. Identified, initiated, and formalized partnerships with ten international stakeholders to create new culturally relevant home health care operations, medical training/education programs, and end-of-life services. Spearheaded international collaboration by managing and presenting at eleven conferences and study tours on topics including developing/implementing home health care services and clinical care management. Led multi-department project to create a centralized products and knowledge assets repository and development plan as a key deliverable of SE Health’s international growth strategy. Sought after by internal stakeholders for expertise in public speaking engagements, global awareness and insight, and project leadership/support for internal and external audiences.

Project lead for on-going work to develop a tool able to assess and identify data quality and performance improvement opportunities and challenges to drive customized stakeholder engagement and education. Prepared and presented detailed clinical and business education sessions for various stakeholders including; CCO staff, MOHLTC representatives, LHIN/CCAC leadership, hospital clinical and administrative staff and additional external agencies. Developed and enhanced clear-language clinical guidance documents for the enhancement of the Wait Time Information System to be communicated to all relevant stakeholder groups. Member of the Access to Care Person-Centred Care Committee; conducted a focus group with Patient Family Advisors and analyzed feedback to improve the MOHLTC public reporting site.

Reviewed submitted manuscripts for Healthcare Management Forum; a publication of the Canadian College of Healthcare Leaders. Provided critical analysis and feedback on content and relevancy to the healthcare field.

Led team of 15+, including individuals with lived mental health experience. Identified, connected and liaised with local stakeholders and senior-level administrators to engage in working partnerships and participate in mental health educational events and campaigns. Informed on strategic priorities related to the needs of Toronto and surrounding areas including increased awareness, advocacy and equity objectives on behalf of the homeless, Aboriginal and LGBT communities. Facilitated and supported organizations to host fundraising events for two major annual campaigns

Lead Intern supporting the Gulbenkian Foundation Child Rights Project exploring the detrimental impact of institutionalization on children in mental and social care facilities around the world. Deconstructed and coordinated feedback from the project team; synthesized literature review materials into a cohesive foundation forming the basis of the report. Contributed to the WHO Mental Health in Development Global Platform (MiNDbank) through analysis and interpretation of country documents pertaining to mental health/health law, policies and strategies. Edited large country profile documents for the WHO Mental Health in Development Country Profiles (proMIND) project; provided recommendations for countries and proMIND team to enhance user experience.

Created a comprehensive current state analysis of the client experience through the ACST Program to support organizational goals aimed at improving equitable access and increasing system capacity. Interviewed multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels one-to-one and in small/large groups while building and maintaining working relationships; conducted focus groups with patient-client population. Established succinct and relevant indicators, metrics and recommendations to improve on the current state of the program based on findings from stakeholder discussions and broader organizational strategic goals. Demonstrated success in project management and overseeing complex challenges while adhering to strict and competing deadlines.

Lead Investigator in assessing the challenges experienced by front-line service providers in addressing patient mental health in a chronic complex care and rehabilitation environment. Designed entire research protocol, evaluation procedure, survey tool and data analysis method. Initiated, launched and led a comprehensive pan-organization quality improvement needs assessment surveying 125 Bridgepoint employees to identify training, education and program planning needs of front-line service providers to best serve their patient population. Managed organization-wide engagement in project across 18 clinical and non-clinical groups, conducted focus groups, presented findings to the senior leadership team. Supervised and led a diverse team of nine Nurse Educators and Patient Care Managers to improve hospital processes using Lean Methodology and Process Improvement techniques, used Visio for presentation. Recommended policy changes to the Employee Assistance Program contractual agreement to drive opportunities for enhanced staff access and utilization of program.

Developed and led strategic initiatives for marketing and advertising of training and education products. Supported stakeholder relations through contacting key organizations and groups across Canada within the non-profit sector and field of mental health; established a database of over 5,000 relevant contacts. Used online system metrics to critically evaluate degree of customer engagement and satisfaction.

Supported children with facial differences and their families; provided psychosocial counselling, identified appropriate resources and funding opportunities, advocated on behalf of patient and family needs. Lead Volunteer Coordinator responsible for a team of 15+, organized and coordinated responsibilities. Created method for scoring and compiling digital data record to enable Family Connection’s Day evaluations to be used in future program planning and evaluation projects.

Supported a large-scale, multi-million dollar project on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and its effectiveness in treating individuals who have Borderline Personality Disorder. Facilitated focus group sessions and larger team meetings, created documents for the project including; advertisements, group presentations, preliminary investigative tools and focus group materials.
