As an Electronic Media Communication major at Middle Tennessee State University, I served as a Library Assistant at the James E. Walker Library (2000-2003) and a Computer Lab Assistant for both MTSU Housing (2004-2006) and the MTSU Department of Health & Human Performance (Spring 2006 semester). In 2008, I began volunteering work at the Linebaugh Library. In late 2012, I was hired as a Shelving Clerk; with a promotion to a Reference Clerk three months later. In addition to the Reference Clerk position, I am also a Museum Store Clerk at the Nashville Parthenon Museum Store.In addition to my library and museum experience, I also have electronic media experience serving as the Web Administrator for the MTSU Political Science Department (2003-2006) and a Graphic Designer for Reading for Education (2007-2009) where I used software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.With the positions showcased on my LinkedIn profile, I have made information, history, and technology physically and intellectually accessible to people by working with all levels of people including students and faculty.I exhibit excellent attention to detail and organization. I enjoy trying different approaches to solving problems, as I am able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. By prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently and communicating efficiently with those to whom I report, I am able to maximize customer service.
